He’ll then use a shade guide to select the perfect color and take impressions of your teeth. All this will be sent to the lab responsible for making your new porcelain dental crown.
To protect your smile in the meantime, we’ll place a temporary crown over the tooth. When you return for your second appointment, Dr. Li will replace the temporary crown with the permanent one. He’ll then ensure everything looks and feels natural before cementing the permanent porcelain crown in place.
